Harshit Rana would have been the most relieved man at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium after the dismissal of Yashasvi Jaiswal. Notably, the Royals are curently playing against the Knight Riders in the sixth match of the IPL 2025.

Ahead of the game, the Knight Riders won the toss and opted to field first in the game. The Royals did not have a great start to their innings as they lost their captain and one of their openers, Sanju Samson early in the innings.

Harshit Rana Let Off Yashasvi Jaiswal In The Fifth Over Of The Match

After the dismissal of Samson, Riyan Parag was looking good in the middle, but he too did not last long. At this juncture it was crucial for Yashavsi Jaiswal to stretch his knock and play an impact knock. The southpaw also got a life off Harshit Rana's bowling, when the bowler dropped a catch of his own bowling.

Rana Does Not Repeat The Same Mistake Twice

But soon, Rana got another chance to effect the dismissal of Yashasvi and this time he did not let the chance go. On the fourth delivery of the ninth over, Moeen Ali tossed up the ball at the off stump line. Jasiwal stepped down the track and tried to clear the long-on fence.

However, did not connect the ball and got if off the bottom half of the bat. The ball skied up in the air and was caught by Rana in the deep. The young Indian bowler was seen walking on his knees as a part of his unique celebration after taking the catch. The celebration also reflected the releif he felt because he dropped the same batter not too long ago.
