Rohit Sharma has been in killer form in the World Cup 2023 and is taking apart bowling attacks for fun. He smashed a century against Afghanistan and then followed it up with another belligerent 86 against Pakistan and looked in supreme touch against Bangladesh as well. He smashed 48 off 40 balls and was all set to get to his fifty in style but unfortunately was caught pulling just near the fence, bringing an end to another entertaining knock from the Indian captain.

It was the 13th over of India's innings and with the score at 88-0, Rohit Sharma looked in great hurry to finish off things and punish Bangla Tigers badly in Pune. Hasan Mahmud bowled a short delivery on off, inviting Rohit Sharma to play his favourite pull shot and Indian skipper too did not shy away looking to hit over deep square leg. However, he just could not get enough power behind his shot and Towhid Hridoy near the fence took a sharp catch.

India, however, are still in a great position to win the game and would do that comfortably unless someone from Bangladesh's bowling arsenal steps up and delivers a spirited performance.
