Whatever Rishabh Pant touched turned into gold on Wednesday (April 17) in Match 32 of IPL 2024 between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

After a sharp DRS and a magnificent catch, Pant showed his supreme reflexes during the ninth over of GT’s innings. Batting on 8 off 14 balls, Abhinav Manohar tried to push a length ball, only to be beaten by the outside edge.

DC skipper then broke the stumps with lightning-quick speed, and soon after, he was delighted before even the umpire signalled to decide upstairs.

And the reply showed on the big screen that Pant was right, as no part of Manohar’s leg was inside the crease when Pant broke the stumps. The incident reminded many fans of MS Dhoni, who used to do the same, and did not wait for umpire's decision before going to bowlers after stumping.
