Indian dynamo Rinku Singh delivered an outstanding performance in the second T20I against Australia in Thiruvananthapuram, making a significant impact with a short but explosive innings.

Rinku produced a moment of magic with a ground-shaking six

Entering the crease towards the end of India's innings, Rinku quickly grabbed the limelight with a dynamic 31-run cameo off just 9 deliveries, including four boundaries and two sixes.

The highlight of Rinku's innings was a remarkable shot against Australian bowler Sean Abbott in the 19th over. Facing a lower full toss from Abbott, Rinku displayed impeccable timing, sending the ball soaring straight down the ground for a six with a fluid, singular swing. This shot not only enthralled the audience but also left the commentators astounded by its sheer brilliance.

The southpaw's late onslaught was crucial in propelling India to a formidable total of 235/4. Earlier, the Indian batting lineup had set a solid foundation, thanks to Yashasvi Jaiswal's rapid half-century off just 24 balls.

This was well-supported by half-centuries from Ishan Kishan and Ruturaj Gaikwad. Rinku's finishing flourish was instrumental in enhancing the team's total, building on the momentum established by the top order.

As the match progressed, Australia faced a challenging chase. At the time of writing, Australia is positioned at 36/1 after three overs. Opener Matthew Short, having scored 19 runs off 10 balls has been dismissed by Indian spinner Ravi Bishnoi.

With Marcus Stoinis and Tim David at the crease, Australia needed to score an additional 169 runs in the remaining 12 overs to achieve the target set by India.
