In the ongoing Vizag Test, Shubman Gill's remarkable century has propelled India to set a daunting 399-run target for England in the second Test of the IND vs ENG series. Gill's outstanding innings not only silenced critics but also placed India in a commanding position.

Despite all this, Rehan Ahmed, the English leg spinner, dismissed Ashwin with a skillful delivery in the first ball of the 79th over. Ashwin, attempting a push, got an outside edge, expertly caught by Foakes behind the stumps after a well-made 29 runs of 61 balls. With this, India concluded their innings at 255, setting a target of 399 for England to win.

The Indian innings kicked off with a strategic approach by Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma in the evening session of Day 2. Nevertheless, the swing bowling of James Anderson led to their dismissals in the morning session on Day 3.

Despite the setback, Shubman Gill emerged as the top scorer, navigating through a scratchy start to achieve his 3rd Test century. Axar Patel provided some support, but the lower order succumbed quickly after their departures.

As of the latest update, England stands at 67/1 after the end of Day 3. Zak Crawley and Rehan Ahmed  are at the crease, requiring 332 more runs for victory. India, on the other hand, needs 9 wickets to level the five-test match series at 1-1.
