Shreyanka Patil is one of the most talented young cricketers in India and is growing in stature with each passing game. She is a clever off-break bowler and has the ability to bamboozle best of the batters with her guile and variations.

In the third ODI between India Women and Australia Women at the Wankhede Stadium, Patil once again showed her class when all other Indian bowlers failed to produce the goods.

Australia eventually scored 338 on the board but it would have been much worse for India. Australia started off with a bang as the Aussie opening pair of Alyssa Healy and Phoebe Litchfield stitched together a stand of 189 runs. Australia lost Healy and Perry in quick succession after that but they still had plenty of match-winners in their ranks and it was then that Shreyanka Patil got into the act.

She first got the rid of one of the most consistent batters in the world, Beth Mooney and then on the very first ball, Tahila McGrath was sent back to the hut as well. It was the 36th over of the game and both Mooney and McGrath were adjudged LBW.

That brought some life back into India's camp and though they still gave away over 300 runs, they are atleast in with a chance going into the second half, after a slight comeback in the middle overs.
