Travis Head, India’s nightmare in the recent World Cup 2023 final, seemed to be in stupendous form on Tuesday during Australia’s must-win third T20I against the Men in Blue in Guwahati. The southpaw smashed eight fours in his brisk 18-ball 35 until Avesh Khan came into the attack and got rid of the dangerous batsman.

Chasing 223, Head gave Australia an ideal start, as the Kangaroos raced to 56/1 in the first five overs. Avesh, who got an opportunity after Mukesh Kumar’s unavailability due to marriage, did the job for India after that. In the sixth over, the right-arm quick bowled a slower delivery on off stump, which Head tried to pull only to find a massive top edge.



Placed at short fine leg, Ravi Bishnoi kept his calm and took the catch with safe hands to ensure Head’s dismissal. Considering the match situation, it was a brilliant catch by Bishnoi, who did not panic while keeping his eyes on the ball.
