Adil Rashid bowled a brilliant delivery to clean up Mitchell Marsh on Wednesday when they went face-to-face in the first T20I of the three-match series between Australia and England in Southampton. In the prcoess, the hosts, led by Phil Salt, broke the momentum which was earlier created by none other than Travis Head.

It was a nicely tossed-up delivery by Rashid, the No. 1 T20I bowler in the world. Marsh, batting on 2 off 3 balls, went for a big swing against it. However, he could not pick up the googly, and it did the damage. 

The ball went on to rattle the off stump, and Rashid was delighted to see his plan work against Marsh. Even Salt was absolutely delighted to see his ace spinner get success against one of the best in the business in T20Is.


Australia In Tatters After Head's Early Blows

Meanwhile, Australia could not manage to score a gigantic total after Head's early attack. They were bundled out for 179 in 19.3 overs, with Head being the top-scorer, having made 59 off 23 balls.

For England, Liam Livingstone did the most damage, having picked up three wickets. Jofra Archer and Saqib Mahmood were impressive during the death overs, as they took two wickets apiece to restrict Australia under 180. The chase, at the time of writing this, is about to get underway.
