Rashid Khan is one of the most celebrated cricketers in T20 leagues around the world, and is one of the crucial assets for GT. In IPL 2024, he has done decently with the ball, but has not been able to deliver heroics with bat in hand.

In the 21st match of IPL 2024 between LSG and GT, he bowled four overs for 28 runs and took one wicket. However, when GT were in trouble with the bat, Rashid Khan failed to step up and departed for a duck off three balls.

It was a shortish slower delivery at 117 Kph and Rashid Khan tried to blast it away. He danced down the track and tried to blast it away. However, he ended up hitting it off the bottom of his blade and handed an easy catch to Deepak Hooda at mid off.

It was a double-wicket over from Yash Thakur and the right-arm pacer ended up taking five wickets to bundle out GT for just 130. Along with Thakur, Krunal Pandya also took three wickets and it was a complete performance from the home team to seal their third win of the 17th edition of IPL.
