India A are up against Oman in a Group B encounter and the home team has decided to bat first after winning the toss. India A have already qualified for the semis by winning their first two matches and would like to continue the momentum with a win over Oman who have not won a single game so far.

India managed to get three wickets in the Powerplay with Aaqib Khan bagging the opening wicket. Nishant Sindhu then got rid of Jatinder Singh and then Ramandeep Singh joined the act with a wicket of Karan Sonavale. The wicket of Sonavale came in the 5th over of the match and it was a short-of-a-length delivery that nipped back in sharply into the batter. The batter went for a wild slog across the line, but missed it completely and the ball shattered the stumps.

India On Their Way To Top The Group

After the wicket of Sonavale, Wasim Ali and Mohammad Nadeem built a partnership, but Sai Kishore removed the former and got an important breakthrough for India in the 15th over. Overall, India A have been dominant throughout this tournament and both their batters and bowlers have delivered.

This is also the last match of the group stage, and Oman would be hoping to end the tournament on a high. Also, if India A win this match, they will end as table-toppers and will face Afghanistan A in the second semifinal while Pakistan A will face Sri Lanka A in the first semifinal.
