Radha Yadav is one of the finest fielders in the world, and she is showing all her skills in the second ODI against New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium. She first took a brilliant catch to dismiss Georgia Plimmer first and now has pulled off an absolute stunner to end Brooke Halliday's short stay. Her catch of Halliday also helped Priya Mishra bag her debut wicket and India are chipping in with regular wickets, just like the first ODI.

Brooke Halliday's wicket came on the third delivery of the 32nd over. It was a tossed up delivery on off from the young leg-spinner. The southpaw danced down the track and tried to hit it over the top. She miscued it completely though and the ball went in the air towards the extra cover region. The ball seemed to be landing in a no man's land, behind the 30-yard-circle, but Radha Yadav had other plans.

Radha Yadav Continues To Sizzle On The Field

She was well inside the circle in the extra cover region. However, she swiftly ran backwards, kept her eyes towards the ball and then timed her dive to perfection to grab a catch for the ages. This is not the first time, Radha Yadav has produced such amazing fielding effort, as recently she grabbed plenty of eyeballs with her brilliant catching in T20 World Cup 2024.

India are leading the series by a 1-0 margin, and would be eyeing a win in this game to seal the series before the final game. New Zealand, on the other hand, would be looking to get back on track after the loss in the first game. They have recently won T20 World Cup 2024 and have traditionally enjoyed upper hand against India in ODIs, so it would be interesting to see how this series unfolds.
