Legendary West Indies T20 cricketer Kieron Pollard exhibited his fielding brilliance as he took a magnificent catch in Southern Brave's ongoing The Hundred 2024 encounter against Manchester Originals. His astounding fielding effort led to the dismissal of Manchester's premier allrounder Sikandar Raza off Tymal Mills' bowling.

The incident occurred during the eighth set of Manchester's innings when Raza was forming consolidating stand with Wayne Madsen. 

However, Southern Brave captain James Vince's decision to bring Tymal Mills back into the attack proved to be a master stroke, with the left-arm pacer dismissing Raza with a clever delivery. 

From around the wicket, Mills bowled a shortish delivery around the off stump, as Raza went for a big shot over the off side. However, he miscued it completely, with the ball gobbling up in the air for a long time. 

Kieron Pollard, stationed at mid off, ran backwards and took a sharp catch to dismiss the Zimbabwe mainstay. Despite falling on the ground, Pollard didn't lose his balance, claiming a clean catch. 

Batting first, Manchester Originals managed a modest 116-run total on the board. Skipper Phil Salt disappointed them yet again, while Madsen and Jamie Overton helped them breach the 100-run mark with crucial cameos.
