Mumbai Indians have had a dream start against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Opting to bowl first, they have wreaked havoc with the ball, with a surprising bowler being the chief destroyer.

MI's Nuwan Thushara has scalped three top order batters, and has pushed KKR on the back-foot inside the power-play. He started with the all-important wicket of Phil Salt, and followed it up with the scalp of Angkrish Raghuvanshi.

However, the wicket of Shreyas Iyer was most crucial of them all. The KKR captain, who has had a decent tournament so far, failed badly against the MI pacer and was dismissed for a 4-ball 6.

Thushara gets Iyer's wicket

Thushara bowled a fuller delivery on the middle and leg as Iyer flicked it straight into the hands of the man at mid-on. Iyer looked dejected as he missed out on an opportunity to score big on a good batting surface.

The wickets didn't stop there as Sunil Narine, who has been superb at the top was knocked over by MI skipper, Hardik Pandya. The match is of utmost importance for Mumbai Indians. They need to win the contest to stay alive in the playoff race. A loss here and they'll be eliminated from the competition.
