After an astonishing victory in the first Test at Multan, England batters have found it hard to get going against quality bowling attack of Pakistan. After the Multan thrashing, Pakistan prepared a spin-friendly deck for the second Test, and the results were imminent.

The home side bounced back in style to win the contest by 152 runs to level the series in some style. In the Test match, England batters struggled against Pakistan spin duo of Noman Ali and Sajid Khan as they wreaked havoc with their bowling. Interestingly, the trend continued in the ongoing third Test as well.

England started on an aggressive note, but once the first wicket fell, the team crumbled like a pack of cards. When English batter Harry Brook came out to bat, he struggled to get his timing right as the spinners tightened the screws on the scoring rate.

During one moment, Pakistan keeper, Mohammad Rizwan saw Brook struggle against the spinners and mocked the English batter with a phrase - "No more Bazball now."

The English media coined their nation's aggressive batting in Tests as Bazball, which refers to their head coach, Brendon McCullum, who was an aggressive batter in his playing days.

England in a spot of bother on Day 1

The England openers, Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett added 56 runs for the first wicket, but once Crawley departed the wicket floodgates opened as the visitors struggled for every run.

Ollie Pope, Joe Root and Harry Brook departed in quick successions and skipper Ben Stokes followed them soon as the English side looked in a spot of bother on Day 2 itself.

However, Jamie Smith and Gus Atkinson have provided a bit of resistance as the duo are fighting it hard and are slowly and steadily taking the English score to the 200-run mark.
