The Caribbean Tigers and the Miami Lions crossed swords in the sixth match of the Max60 2024 at the Jimmy Powell Oval in Cayman Islands. While the Caribbean Tigers were coming into the this game on the back of two wins, the Miami Lions had faced two defats before this clash. 

The Miami Lions won the toss and opted to field first. The Australian opener, Josh Brown (44 off 20) gave the Caribbean Tigers a powerful start. He got Chris Lynn (37 off 15) alongside him, who also took tha attack to the Lions bowlers and propelled the team towards a significant total. 

The Australian middle-order batter provided the final push to the team with a blistering cameo. Nick Hobson scored 28 runs off eight deliveries with strike rate of 350.00. His innings was decorated with two boundaries and three maximums.

Out of this 28 runs, Hobson scored 26 runs in the ninth over of the innings against Anderson Phillip. He hit three sixes in the over alongwith two boundaries and one of the deliveries went by as a dot. This assault by Hobson ensured that the Caribbean Tigers were able to post 138/4 in their 10 overs. 

The Miami Lions tried to chase down the target and looked in the game when, Corey Anderson was in the crease. The US international scored 43 runs off 19 deliveries and took the fight to the opposition. However, his efforts were not enough as the Lions could only manage 100/7 in their 10 overs and lost the game by 38 runs.
