Isuru Udana picked up 3/6 in the Max60 Caribbean 2024 [X]

The New York Strikers locked horns with the Miami Lions in the fourth match of the Max60 Caribbean 2024 at the Jimmy Powell Oval in Cayman Islands. The Strikers won the toss in the game and opted to field first. The track has favoured batting in general but in this game it was seen that the track favoured the bowlers from the start of the game. 

Isuru Udana bowled a destructive spell in the game

The Sri Lankan all-rounder, Isuru Udana made the best of the track and restricted the Miami Lions batters from scoring freely. The left-arm seamer bowled the first over of the innings and picked up the wicket of Chadwick Walton in that while conceding just four runs. 

He was brought back into the attack in the ninth over of the innings. Udana brought in all his experience in this over and picked up the last two wickets of the innings, while conceding only two runs off it. This meant that Udana finished his spell with three for six in his two overs. The Miami Lions could manage only 52 before being bundled out in the ninth over.

The New York Strikers also struggled while chasing this small total. They lost five wicket and the game went till the ninth over before they went past the target. With the the New York Strikers are now currently placed in the third spot in the points table, while th Miami Lions are at the bottom of the table and are still waiting to get off the mark in the points tally.
