Rishabh Pant can be declared one of the luckiest batters in the current cricketing landscape. After recovering from a near-fatal accident, Pant has showcased remarkable form in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024.

His latest stroke of fortune came in the 43rd match against Afghanistan in Bridgetown, where wicketkeeper-batter Pant received a crucial lifeline as Naveen ul Haq dropped a straightforward catch.

This is not the first instance of Pant benefiting from a lucky break. Throughout this tournament, he has had multiple moments where fortune has favored him.

In this match, after India won the toss and opted to bat first, Afghanistan secured their first breakthrough by dismissing opener Rohit Sharma for 18 runs. Rishabh Pant then came in to replace him and soon after got his lucky lifeline.
