Mohammed Siraj, one of the India's finest pacers in recent times has set the stage on fire in the Asia Cup final and has registered best figures by an Indian bowler against Sri Lanka with a six-wicket haul.

Bumrah drew the first blood with the wicket of Kusal Perera in the first over and then it was followed by an absolute carnage by Mohammed Siraj. He was unlucky in his first over where he beat the edge of the bat numerous times but in the fourth over of the game, he did something that has been rarely done in cricket. He picked four wickets in a single over and left the jam-packed crowd at R. Premadasa completely shell-shocked.

Siraj then also got the big wicket of Shanaka in the his next over and Sri Lanka had only Kusal Mendis playing a lone battle. However, his resistance was also soon ended by Siraj when in the 12th over of the game, Siraj produced another peach of a delivery. It was a big booming inswinger that proved too hot to handle for Mendis as he tried to drive it. The ball sneaked between his bat and pad and shattered the middle pole, reducing Sri Lanka to 33-7.

Hardik Pandya then got rid of Dunith Wellalage as well and Sri Lanka lost 8 wickets with just 40 runs on the board.
