[Watch] Mohammad Rizwan 'Disgusted' After Throwing His Wicket Vs Afghanistan

After getting a decent start, courtesy of a fighting half century by Abdullah Shafique, Pakistan suffered a mini collapse in their ongoing World Cup game against Afghanistan in Chennai. World Cup debutant Noor Ahmad emerged as Afghanistan's wrecker-in-chief, as he dismissed ace batter Mohammad Rizwan after getting rid of Abdullah Shafique.

Left-arm wrist spinner Noor Ahmad had a memorable World Cup debut, dismissing two in-form Pakistani batters, Shafique and Rizwan, in quick succession. After trapping Shafique plumb in front of the stumps, Noor got rid of Rizwan to push Pakistan on the back foot.

Coming around the wicket, Noor Ahmad bowled a googly that turned sharply away from Rizwan from the fifth stump line.

However, Rizwan, as always, pre-committed for a sweep shot against the turn, top-edging the ball in this process. Rahmanullah Gurbaz, stationed at short fine leg, did no mistake and held on to the catch.

Thus, Rizwan, who hammered a match-winning hundred against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad, was forced to make his way back to the dugout with disappointment written all over his face.

As of writing, Pakistan are 128 for three, with Saud Shakeel and Babar Azam batting on 5* and 38*, respectively.
