[Watch] Mitchell Starc Claims 350th Test Wicket in 'Starc-Esque' Fashion

The ongoing second Test between Australia and West Indies sees the Pat Cummins-led XI dominate their opponents on Day 1 of the Pinl Ball Test at Gabba, which is underway.

One of the main reasons behind Australia's command in the first session was pacer Mitchell Starc, who rocked the Windies middle-order away. Starc claimed three wickets for 11 runs in his 7.2 overs spell, which included his 350th Test wicket as well.

Bowling to promising West Indies batter Alick Athanaze, the left-arm bowler produced a trademark Starc-esque delivery to get rid of the batter and attain the landmark.

Starc pitches the ball outside off, which Athanaze obliges for a drive, but only manages to edge a simple catch to wicketkeeper Alex Carey.

Prior to his 350th wicket, Starc got rid of Tagenarine Chanderpaul, for 21, getting the batter caught in slip, and then just minutes before the session break, got the better of Justin Greaves, who, too, perished in the slip cordon.

The Australia legend is the 27th bowler in international cricket for pick 350 Test wickets, and has the fourth best bowling strike rate in the list.

Starc is just four wickets shy of former Australian Dennis Lillee's tally of 355 Test wickets and could most likely breach this number in the ongoing Gabba Test itself and become the fourth-highest wicket-taker for the county in red-ball cricket.
