The third edition of SA20 is moving along nicely and in the 10th match of the season, Pretoria Capitals are up against Joburg Super Kings. The Men in Yellow decided to bowl first after winning the toss and their bowlers have done a great job, picking wickets at regular wickets to never let Capitals' find momentum.
One of the wicket was of Will Jacks, the Englishman who has been in good form this season. He departed for 15 off just 13 balls and Evan Jones got the better of him with a full toss. It was not a delivery that deserved a wicket, but Will Jacks missed it completely and the ball hit him on the pads directly.
Will Jacks Fails To Make An Impact Against Super Kings
An appeal followed and the umpire did to hesitate to give it out as it looked dead plumb. Will Jacks was quite surprised and probably ashamed of missing the ball and asked his partner whether he should take the DRS or not. The response from the other side was on expected lines and Will Jacks decided to walk off the field.
His wicket was the second one of the innings and Pretoria Capitals just kept losing wickets in the middle overs as Joburg spinners bowled beautifully. They ended up with a score of 138 in the end with Kyle Verreynne top-scoring with 39. Neesham also scored 30 and now Pretoria Capitals need to bowl well to make a match out of it.
