Marco Jansen is one of the most talented young all-rounders in world cricket currently and has made rapid strides in world cricket in last couple of years. The World Cup 2023 is his first 50-over World Cup and he has started it off quite well, making important contributions both with the bat and ball. In the game against Netherlands, he is again showing his worth with a quality spell, picking two wickets in his 8 overs.

One of those two wickets was of Indian-origin batter Teja Nidamanuru who was batting quite well till the time he encountered a classic yorker from the tall Marco Jansen. It caught Teja off-guard and despite him trying to save himself with DRS, he proved unfruitful for the Dutch middle order.

It was the last ball of the 27th over and Marco Jansen in a desperate bid to get a wicket bowled a pacy yorker on middle. Teja Nidamanuru tried to get his bat down but failed to do as the ball hit his pad, evoking a strong appeal from South African players. The umpire raised his finger and it marked the downfall of another Dutch batter.
