The Netherlands are in deep trouble against South Africa, as the Men in Orange have lost four wickets in 10 overs at a score of just 35. South African seam bowlers are breathing fire against the Dutch as all four wickets were taken by pacers.

Marco Jansen drew the first blood for South Africa in the first over and took another wicket in his third over when he cleaned up Vikramjeet Singh. It was not Jansen's only contribution in the match as he took a blinder in the slips.

On the 4th ball of the 3rd over, Ottniel Baartman bowled a beautiful delivery to Max O'Dowd that found the outside edge. It was then that Jansen made a dive stretching to his left and took a stunning catch.

Netherlands and South Africa share a history as the Dutch recently did a lot of harm in ICC events. Firstly, Netherlands beat South Africa in 2021 T20 World Cup which saw the African side bow out of the tournament. The most recent humiliation for Proteas came in 2023 World Cup where they lost to Netherlands.

At the time of writing, NED are 69/6 after 16 overs.
