[Watch] Kuldeep Yadav Gives India First Breakthrough, Dismisses Dangerous Ben Duckett

Kuldeep Yadav unveiled the magic in only his second over upon return to India's Test playing XI with a beautiful delivery to get rid of dangerous England opening batter Ben Duckett on Day 2 in Visakhapatnam.

The promising wristspinner, who missed the first Test in Hyderabad, provided India the first breakthrough after England had dominated their way to 59 inside 10 overs in response to the home team's imposing 396, courtesy Yashasvi Jaiswal's dominating 209

Extracting great dip and turn on the ball, Kuldeep pulled Duckett forward and fetched the outside edge comfortably into the hands of the silly point fielder. Hint of overspin on the ball meant it hit the splice of the left-hander's willow and ballooned into the hands of Rajat Patidar.

Kuldeep Yadav Sends Ben Duckett Back In Vizag

After coming out firing all cylinders at the crease with his 21 off 16 deliveries in a terrific opening stand with Zak Crawley, Duckett failed to survive the 17th ball in the middle facing the in-form Indian left-arm wristspinner.

Kuldeep would've been delighted with this wicket. Not just because he managed to provide India the first breakthrough for the innings after an expensive passage of play but since he did the opening batter on the conventional leg-spinner turning away from the left-hander.

Despite Ben Duckett having a decent idea of what the ball is meant to do, he couldn't survive as the delivery dipped onto his forward defensive prod and then turned with oomph and bounce to fetch the thick leading edge in the silly point's hands.

Kuldeep's comeback to the Test team had been one of the most exciting aspects of the Vizag Test after injury to premier all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja reopened the doors for the resurgent young bowler.
