In match number 20 of the ongoing CPL, Trinbago Knight Riders are playing against the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons at the Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad, West Indies. Earlier in the match, Chris Green the captain of Falcons won the toss and put the Knights to bat first.

The Knights did not have a good start in the first over of the match as they lost their opener, Sunil Narine. The top-order collapsed in no time as they lost Shaqkere Parris and Keacy Carty without much contribution. Nicholas Pooran tried to stabilise the innings but could not contribute much as he was dismissed by Joshua James. 

Kieron Pollard's Quickfire Cameo To Rescue Knight Riders  

In the end, Kieron Pollard came to the Knight's rescue and played a quick-fire cameo to help the Knight Riders reach a decent total of 134/8. Pollard made 47 runs off 37 balls that was decorated with two fours and four maximums. Notably, his massive six in the 12th over exemplified his power-hitting prowess, as he skillfully dispatched a fuller length delivery outside off over long-on with sheer force. 

However, it is worth mentioning that Pollard departed in the last over of the first innings but before that, he made sure that he made enough runs to help TKR to reach a decent total of 134/8. No other lower-middle order player was able to make any significant contribution with Andre Russell throwing away his wicket for a golden duck. 

If Knight Riders can win this match they will become the second team to qualify for the playoffs after Barbados Royals. Currently, they sit at the second position in the points table with 8 points. 

Chasing the target, the Falcons have already lost an early wicket of opener Brandon King. At the time of writing, the Falcons have lost one wicket at 13 runs.
