Nicholas Pooran failed once more with bat putting the Knights in deep trouble
The West Indian youngsters, Shaqkere Parris and Keacy Carty also did last long and soon the Knights were 40 for three down. It was the eighth over and the Knights were hoping Nicholas Pooran would stand up for them and play one of his classing knocks.
However, Pooran soon made his way back to the hut as Joshua James accounted for him in the next over. On the third delivery of the over, James bowled a back of a length delivery into the wicket on the off stump. Pooran rocked back and tried to pull the ball away over the square leg fence for a maximum. But the southpaw did not get proper connection on the shot and the ball did not travelled the distance that Pooran would have hoped for.
Hassan Khan fielding the deep ran forward and dived to take a stunning catch. The wicket can be given down to the fielding of the Pakistani youngster as it was one of the best catches taken in CPL 2024.
