Australia came into Day 5 with all 10 wickets intact and needed 249 runs to win. However, England managed to took 3 wickets in the morning session before rain brought a break to the proceedings. It came down to Australia needing 149 runs and England needing 7 wickets when play resumed again after the rain break and England have just been absolutely superb after that.

Moeen Ali turned the tables with two big wickets of Head and Mitchell Marsh while Woakes took wicket of Smith to put Australia under the pump. The wicket of Mitchell Marsh though would be remembered for a fantastic catch taken by Bairstow behind the stumps.

It was a beautiful delivery turning into Marsh who was in doubt whether to go forward or back and ended up trying to defend it off the front foot. He got an inside edge onto his pad and the ball brushed his body as well as it lopped up to the air right of Bairstow. He showed brilliant reflexes and dived full-length to his right to take a superb one-handed stunner.

At the time of writing, Australia need 100 runs to win while England need 3 wickets to clinch the game and level the series 2-2.
