Ishan Kishan, one of India's most talented young superstar, known for his belligerent hitting is growing from strength to strength in international cricket. The pocket dynamite, as he is fondly known notched up his fourth consecutive fifty in ODIs with a matured knock against Pakistan in a high-pressure environment. In a much-awaited Asia Cup clash between the two arch-rivals, Pakistan gained an early upper hand with four quick wickets. However, Ishan Kishan who came in at number 5, weathered the storm nicely against the likes of Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf and displayed his antics whenever he got an opportunity.

Talking about Ishan Kishan's antics, he hit a six off just his seventh delivery to Haris Rauf. It was an upper cut off a short delivery, outside off that sailed over backward point for a maximum. It brought back memories of iconic Sachin Tendulkar Shot off Shoaib Akhtar in the 2003 World Cup, when Tendulkar in his brilliant knock of 98 smashed Pakistan bowlers all over the park.
Ishan Kishan played some wonderful shots during his knock of 82 off 81 balls with nine fours and two fifties. He got to his fifty in 54 balls but failed to convert into century as Haris Rauf got rid of him in the 34th over.
