IND vs PAK | Rain Interrupts As Rohit Sharma-Gill Start Cautiously In Asia Cup

India-Pakistan game is always a spectacle to behold! However, one cannot control the nature and after just 26 balls were bowled in the much-awaited Asia Cup clash, our not-so-beloved friend rain has interrupted and players have gone off the field with covers taking on. Indian openers managed to tackle the threat of Shaheen Afridi and Naseem so far and would hope that rain goes away soon, as overcast and wet conditions might make it more difficult for the batters.

India-Pakistan - The Battle So Far!

Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat first. Rohit has scored 11 runs so far off 18 balls and has hit two boundaries including the risky one off Shaheen Afridi. Gill, on the other hand, is yet to get off the mark and is taking a cautious route against the likes of Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah. Both the pacers have got some movement with the new ball and have produced some inside-edges as well but have not been able to break through.

There is a strong breeze along with the rain and it might take the rain away with it soon. So, let's hope that rain finds another cute little place to chill and let cricket takes the centrestage at the Pallekele.
