Pakistan's middle-order batter Irfan Khan was involved in a heated exchange with prominent fast bowler Abbas Afridi following his disastrous runout in the third T20 International against Australia in Hobart. Coming at number six, Irfan Khan managed ten runs before a huge mixup with the seamer led to his dismissal.

The incident occurred during the 14th over of Pakistan's innings when Irfan Khan was trying to steady the ship alongside Abbas Afridi following Babar Azam's dismissal. However, the batter couldn't convert his start into a significant score, with a miscommunication resulting in his runout.

From over the wicket, Aaron Hardie bowled a back-of-the-length delivery, as Abbas nudged it off his back foot on the on-side. He called Irfan for a single, but as Irfan covered quite some distance, the seamer backed out, asking him to return to the non-striker's end.

However, the batter had reached almost the middle of the pitch by then, and it was next to impossible for him to make his ground before Spencer Johnson's deadly throw sent him packing. After being found short of his crease, Irfan expressed his frustration, giving a mouthful to Abbas while making his way back to the hut.

Pakistan Tottering In 3rd T20I vs Australia

Riding on Aaron Hardie's sensational three-wicket haul, Australia have reduced Pakistan to a paltry total in the third T20I. At the time of writing, the visitors were reeling at 116 for nine, with Haris Rauf and Sufyan Muqeem unbeaten in the middle.
