India's young pacer Harshit Rana bowled an amazing spell in the warm-up match against Australia Prime Minister's XI at Manuka Oval in Canberra. The speedster was impressive with the ball, rattling the hosts with his razor-sharp spell. Although Rana was expensive in his first few overs, he made a remarkable comeback, providing the visitors with some crucial breakthroughs.
Harshit Rana, who plays for KKR in the IPL, began his onslaught by dismissing the well-set Jack Clayton, who departed after scoring 40 runs. Sydney Thunder's Big Bash League star Oliver Davies was his second victim, as he castled him with a ripper.
The incident occurred in the 23rd over of the PM-XI's innings when Davies had just joined half-centurion Sam Konstas following Clayton's dismissal. From over the wicket, Rana bowled a full-length delivery that jagged back into Davies after pitching around the off and middle stump line.
As the explosive right-handed batter went for an expansive flick shot, the ball sneaked through the gap between his bat and pad, shattering his middle stump. After cleaning up Davies, Rana gave him an aggressive send off with his trademark dismissive look.
