One of England's best rising talents, Harry Brook has once again showed his composure and ability to perform in crucial situations as he slammed his seventh Test century against New Zealand at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch on Friday. The 25-year-old walked in to bat when England was in deep trouble at 45 for 3, and has delivered exactly what they needed. He had the perfect approach all through the innings to achieve this milestone.
Harry Brook, who plays for Yorkshire in domestic cricket, smashed a ton in 123 balls and registered nine boundaries and two maximums to claim this feat. He first built a strong 171-run partnership with Ollie Pope and continued that with Ben Stokes. This marked his third century this year, with the previous two coming against West Indies and Pakistan.
With this century he equalled legendary Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar's record of Test centuries in New Zealand as both the players have two centuries

The cracking moment occurred during the 61st over, where Tim Southee bowled a short and wide delivery outside off. Brook, who has been looking confident all through the innings, hung back and cut it hard through gully's right for a brilliant boundary. He rose both his arms to soak in the moment and take all the applause from the crowd. He also lifted his bat and the helmet to acknowledge the crowd.
