The ongoing lone Test match between the Indian women's team and the Australian women's team is currently at a gripping stage. After succumbing to pressure in the first innings, the visitors fought back in the second innings.

As of this writing, Australia are leading by 43 runs at a loss of five wickets. However, a particular moment in the 80th over of the second innings caught the fans' attention.

Amid a tiring field day, Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur stepped up with the ball to provide relief to her regular bowlers. On the third delivery, Australian captain Alyssa Healy came down the pitch to drive the ball back to Kaur.

However, with Healy out of her crease, Kaur took a go at the stumps. But the ball went straight to Healy, who used her bat to protect herself from being hit. However, in a comical turn of events, the ball deflected off the bat and went through the ropes, thus awarding Australia with four additional runs.

Needless to say, the Indian captain was pissed and appealed for dismissal under obstruction of the field. However, the umpires turned it down and ruled the runs in favor of Healy after a brief conversation.

Harmanpreet Kaur Gets Aussie Captain Amid A Dramatic Turnaround

The hosts were not happy with the ruling and shook their heads in disappointment. Nonetheless, the skipper earned her sweet revenge on the very next delivery.

All the drama that happened moments ago messed with Healy's concentration as she attempted a premeditated sweep against Kaur, who wasn't producing any turn.

Alyssa Healy got struck on the pads, and umpire Anil Kumar Chaudhary awarded Kaur a wicket. While the Aussie captain opted for a review, it didn't help her cause.

With that, Australia's half-side is back in the hut. Regardless, the visitors remain in a comfortable position. A big partnership could change things drastically for India as they must find a way back into the contest.
