Gerald Coetzee is one of the finest young pacers that has emerged from South Africa in recent times and he is known for raw pace along with 'never say die attitude.' In a tense World Cup 2023 semifinal between South Africa and Australia, he is proving his worth big time with a massive wicket of Josh Inglis when Australia needed 20 runs to win.

Coetzee before the wicket of Inglis also got the big wicket of Steve Smith. The wicket of Inglis tough was off a perfect yorker under pressure which will go down as one of the finest deliveries under pressure in World Cup history.

Coetzee came 'round the wicket and nailed a yorker on middle and Inglis who was batting well on 28 off 49 balls, only managed to get bottom part of his blade as the ball knocked over the stumps. It brought South Africa right back in the game and at that time, South Africa needed 3 more wickets to win with Pat Cummins in the middle alongside Mitchell Starc.

South Africa posted 212 in the first innings on the back of a scintillating century by David Miller and this game between South Africa and Australia, will surely go down as one of the World Cup classics.
