Scotland batter, George Munsey lit up the ZIM Afro T10 League with a blistering century against the Durban Qalandars. He slammed the century in 38-deliveries and was at his imperial best as the bowlers looked helpless.

Munsey came into bat when Lahiru Milantha was dismissed early in the innings. Carnage began instantly as Munsey tore apart the bowling attack and smacked 10 sixes and 6 fours to rattle the opposition bowlers.

It was almost a one-man show as the next best score from the side was 24 from Janishka Perera. Munsey struck at 263.16, and he did the damage considerably as every single delivery was dispatched with ease. He remained unbeaten and took the Harare Hurricanes total to a brilliant 173/2.

Munsey was particularly severe on Yasir Shah as the bowler conceded 30 runs in just one over. Colin Munro was also taken to the cleaners, as the part-time bowler went for 27 runs in 2 overs. The left-handed batter targeted the leg-side region and the opposition team failed to contain him.

The Durban side cam all guns blazing and despite losing two wickets, the team has started the chase on the front-foot.

Despite failing with the bowl, Munro is responding with the bat and is currently striking at nearly 300 as the team looks to chase the improbable.
