The second T20I between Sri Lanka and New Zealand is underway at the Bay Oval in New Zealand. The visitors won the toss and asked the hosts to bat first. The Kiwis lost an early wicket but then Tim Robinson and Mark Chapman got off to a brilliant start as they stitched a 69-runs stand for the 2nd wicket.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka had to rely on a star bowler Wanindu Hasaranga, who provided the crucial breakthrough. On the first ball of the 10th over, Robinson belted Hasaranga for a six. Meanwhile, the ex-RCB spinner had the last laugh as he got rid of the right-hand batter with a ripper on the very next ball.
