As South Africa began their chase, all eyes were on Indian debutant Arundhati Reddy, who made an immediate impact.

In just the second ball of the fourth over, Reddy delivered a spectacular in-seamer on a good length. South African batter Tazmin Brits, caught off guard with the keeper up to the stumps, attempted to drive the ball through the off-side.

However, a significant gap between her bat and pad allowed the ball to sneak through and uproot the middle stump.

Reddy's breakthrough was a moment of sheer delight for the debutant. She jumped, punched the air, and roared in celebration of her maiden ODI wicket. This early dismissal left South Africa at 60/2 after 13 overs, with a daunting 266 runs still needed to win.

Reddy's performance highlighted India's powerful bowling response following their commanding batting display. Her ability to seize an early wicket set the tone for the Indian bowling attack, demonstrating her potential as a valuable asset to the team.
