The Abu Dhabi T10 League 2024 is off to a fiery start. In the second game of the tournament the Morriville Samp Army faced the Bangla Tigers. The Samp Army won the toss and put the Tigers to bat.

Dasun Shanaka Played A Counter Attacking Knock

The Bangla tigers lost an early wicket but soon made a explosive comeback in the to the game. The Sri Lankan all-rounder Dasun Shanaka walked out into the middle at number three and smashed the opposition bowlers to all parts of the ground.

The experienced Sri Lankan player scored 62 runs off 27 deliveries and thrashed the ball to all the parts of the ground. Shanaka's knock was decorated by four boundaries and six maximums. The brutal hitting by him took the team's total to a fighting 106/1 at the end of their overs. 

Tigers Lost Even After Shanaka's Explosive Knock

Although, the Tigers posted a healthy total, it was not enough to restrict the Samp Army. The chasing team put in a team effort to chase down the formidable target. Jack Taylor scored 27 runs off 13 deliveries and provided the finishing touches. They went past the set target losing only four wickets with three balls remaining in the game.
