Bangladesh will be starting their tour of West Indies with the first Test of the two match series at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua. The match will start from November 22 at 7:30 PM IST.
Bangladesh had a great series against Pakistan and clean swept them in the Test series. However, since then, they have not been upto the mark as they have lost the next three series across formats.
On the other hand, West Indies are returning to Test cricket after about three months. The last series that they played was in August this year against South Africa. They lost the two match series after drawing the first game. However, after that they have been playing limited overs cricket since then and need to modify their game as per the purest format toe perform well in the series.
Ahead of the match let us look at what could be the possible XI of Bangladesh for this game.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz To Lead Bangladesh
Najmul Hossain Shanto is the regular full time skipper of Bangladesh. He leads the team in all the formats. However, Mehidy Hasan Miraz will be seen in charge of the team as Najmul Hossain Shanto will be absent due to injury.
In Shanto's absence, Litton Das might be coming back into the team to strengthen the middle-order. He will probably be seen keeping the stumps for the visitors. Besides, this keeping the surface in mind, Bangladesh might go in with two pacers and two spinners combination.
