World Cups and Mohammed Shami is a brilliant love-story to watch. The Indian seamer always brings his best foot forward in World Cups and it has been proven once again when the right-arm pacer rattled the Sri Lankan side with swing and seam.

In the ongoing match against the Lankan Lions at the Wankhede stadium, Shami came in as the first change, following the initial burst between Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj. The opening bowlers did most of the damage, picking up the first 5 wickets.

Talking about the match, India are on the verge of victory. Having scored a mammoth 357/8, India's seam bowlers - Siraj, Bumrah and Shami have breath fire as Sri Lanka are already 8 down for a mere 37 runs.
