Whenever India are in trouble, they look up to Bumrah, hoping for a magic. And it's needless to say that the seamer delivers time and again, proving his worth for the team at the highest level.

It was no exception on Saturday morning, as India's fast bowling great Jasprit Bumrah weaved magic for the visitors once again. After getting rid of the well-set Nathan McSweeney, he dismissed Australia's legendary batter Steve Smith cheaply, wreaking havoc in the hosts' camp.

The incident occurred in the 41st over of Australia's first innings when Smith had just joined the middle alongside his long-time partner-in-crime Marnus Labuschagne. Amid the screams of 'no run' from both ends, Bumrah helped the Indians find their voice in the stands, dismissing Steve Smith in a unique fashion.

From over the wicket, the fast bowler set Smith up with a bunch of good length deliveries around the off stump. As the batter gradually got pulled towards the off stump, Bumrah targeted his leg stump, prompting him to play the leg glance.

As Smith tried to tuck the ball in the on-side, he only managed an edge, with Rishabh Pant taking a sharp diving catch behind the stumps. Thus, Smith, who looked solid in the middle until that moment, was forced to depart for a single-digit score.

Home Boy Travis Head Joins Labuschagne In The Middle

After Steve Smith's dismissal, homeboy Travis Head joined Labuschagne in the middle. At the time of writing, Australia were 117 for three, with Labuschagne and Head batting on 39* and 6*, respectively.
