In the fifth Ashes Test, Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley have given a blistering start to England at The Oval on the first Day. Duckett started with the ball of an aggressor, meanwhile, the right-handed opener decided to drop the anchor.

The left-handed swashbuckling, who took the attack to the Aussie bowlers, came down the track against Josh Hazlewood - in the sixth over of the day - and crashed a blow down the ground, inches away from his partner, Crawley. The non-striker didn't have much of time as he could just bend his back and see the ball scream past.

However, after the ball went past the fence, Duckett came to check on his partner, and both the batters were seen smiling and enjoying the moment.

The Duckett-Crawley dominance couldn't last long in the first innings at The Oval, as the Australian drew the first blood the 12th over at the score of 62.

The southpaw was the first man to get perished as he gloved a delivery from Mitchell Marsh down to the keeper at 41, before Pat Cummins made the other opener knicked the cherry to the man at second slip on 22.

At the time of writing, Australia are two down at 68 after 14 overs, with Joe Root and Moeen Ali in the middle.
