Riding on their seamers' exceptional bowling, Pakistan got off to a dream start in the ongoing first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle. After being invited to bowl, the visitors reduced the hosts to 54 for four in the first session, as Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah ran through the Lankan top order.

After Afridi dismissed Nishan Madushka, Dimuth Karunaratne and Kusal Mendis cheaply, Naseem Shah got rid of veteran Lankan batter Dinesh Chandimal through an absolute ripper. In the 16th over, Shah drew Chandimal to a false shot through a beautiful delivery, which straightened slightly after pitching, taking the batter's outside edge in this process.

It wasn't an easy chance as the ball was travelling quickly. However, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam dived to his left, completing a sharp catch and sending Chandimal back to the hut.

Considering Chandimal's impressive record at home, he could've emerged as a significant threat to Pakistan in this match. Therefore, Babar received massive accolades from all around the world for his commendable fielding effort, which provided his side with a priceless breakthrough.

After Chandimal's departure, the experienced duo of Angelo Mathews and Dhananjaya de Silva negated any further hiccups for the home team, as both teams proceeded for lunch, with Sri Lanka tottering on 65 for four.
