Peshawar Zalmi skipper Babar Azam unleashed his beast mode in the ongoing PSL 2024 match against Quetta Gladiators, as he smashed two sixes in a single over off Mohammad Wasim Jr. Babar's blistering knock and the fireworks of Saim Ayub ensured a brisk start for the Zalmi in the game. 

Chasing a mammoth target of 207 runs, Peshawar Zalmi got off to a great start, as Babar and Saim hammered the Gladiators' bowlers to all parts of the ground. While Ayub took on Akeal Hosein and Mohammad Hasnain, Babar took his chances as soon as Wasim Jr came into the attack. 

After playing a dot ball, Babar hammered a length delivery over the long on for a glorious six. He followed it up with another maximum three balls later, dispatching a body-line delivery into the stands over the mid wicket for a six. 

His onslaught was pivotal in giving Peshawar Zalmi off to a flying start in the Power Play. However, a miscommunication between Babar and Ayub led to the latter's run out dismissal in the ninth over. As of writing, they are 94 for one in 9.1 overs, with Babar and Mohammad Haris batting on 44* and 2*, respectively.
