In a phenomenal achievement, young Indian batter Yashasvi Jaiswal scripted history, setting the record for the most sixes in a Test innings. The swashbuckling southpaw struck 12 gigantic sixes to join Wasim Akram at the top of the elite list.

Notably, legendary Pakistan cricketer Wasim Akram hit 12 sixes during his marathon 257-run knock against Zimbabwe back in 1996. The Indian youngster joined him as soon as he smashed the 12th six during India's second innings in the ongoing Rajkot Test against England.

He is followed by legendary names like Nathan Astle, Matthew Hayden and Brendon McCullum on the list.
