[Watch] Axar Redeems Himself With A Sharp Reflex Catch Of Patidar After Dropping Jacks
Rajat Patidar (BCCI)
In the RCB vs DC game at M Chinnaswamy, Delhi's stand-in skipper Axar Patel finally redeemed himself as he made a fine catch at the extra cover sending Rajat Patidar packing after he hit his 5th IPL fifty of the season. Patidar looked in sublime form as he rained down on DC with numerous boundaries and maximums.
The start of this IPL season and a little while before that might have not been too dreamy for Patidar however, he has pulled himself and showed up at crucial moments for his team, just like today.

Rasikh Salam bowled a back of a length outside the off stump delivery and hungry Patidar was tempted to slap it through the off side. He hit it up and off the top half of the bat. As the ball soared towards the fielder, all RCB fans hoped that it would dropped just like a couple of catches in the innings before this but the fate had other plans.
Axar Patel stationed at the extra cover made sure that he doesn't make a mistake this time as he steps to his left and pouches the catch safely in his two hands before falling.
Patel, Rasikh and the entire DC camp jumps in excitement as they successfully break the brewing partnership between Rajat and Will Jacks. As he walked back to the pavillion, Rasikh gave him a pat for his scintillating 52 off 32.
