Gill To Give Rashid Khan A Rest? Gujarat Titans' Probable XI For IPL 2024 Match vs KKR

Gujarat Titans will be playing their penultimate league game of the IPL 2024 season against Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in what could be a virtual knockout for GT.
GT survived a playoff elimination with a 35 run comfortable victory against CSK earlier this week. Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan got a hundred each while Rashid Khan and Mohit Sharma wrapped things up with a collective of 5 wickets.
However, the impressive win came too late for GT as their playoff odds are more or less negligible.
GT has just 10 points in 12 games, and with just two games left, the maximum points threshold they can reach is 14. Hence, the upcoming clash against KKR is nothing short of a virtual knockout for GT.
Captain Shubman Gill has a task at hand to put his best 11 troops on the field to stand a chance against the mighty KKR, who have already qualified for the playoffs.
The last game was a big positive for Gill, as his team combination worked and the middle order was rarely tested due to the openers’ stellar show.
However, with the ball, the Titans faced a few hits and misses. Debutant Kartik Tyagi was belted on a flat deck as he leaked 51 runs in his spell. Noor Ahmad was also expensive, and hence, a tactical change in the bowling unit could perhaps help Gill in Ahmedabad.
However, with a lack of dependable options on the bench, Gill should stack to the winning combination. Tyagi just had his first game. So he is expected to come around, and Sandeep Warrier has been an exceptional impact player.
Hence, Shubman Gill will have to trust the existing playing XI and try to replicate the same outcome that they had against CSK the other night.
