Anushka Sharma celebrated like a passionate cricket fangirl on Sunday (May 12) during RCB's must-win IPL 2024 clash against Delhi Capitals, taking place at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

The Bollywood diva, who came to support RCB and her husband Virat Kohli, was seen all laughing when Rajat Patidar got a lifeline, courtesy of an easy catch dropped by Shai Hope.

The incident happened during the ninth over of DC's innings, when Patidar, batting on 42 off 21 balls, went for a pull shot against Kuldeep Yadav. The timing, however, was not there, and hence, the ball went straight to Shai Hope at long-on.

Then Hope made a meal out of a simple catch, leaving Anushka celebrate like a child in the stands.

At the time of writing this, Patidar has lost his wicket to Kuldeep Yadav after a flamboyant 32-ball 52, laced with three sixes and as many fours. RCB, after 15.4 overs, have raced to 145/4, with Cameron Green and Mahipal Lomror in the middle, batting on 7* and 5* respectively.
