In the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025 quarter-final match between Haryana and Gujarat, Ravi Bishnoi's efforts went in vain as the Axar Patel-led suffered a 2-wicket defeat.

Gujarat, batting first, tumbled for 196 runs. Meanwhile, Bishnoi, with his spell, tried to seal a win for Gujarat and nearly came close. Notably, the right-arm spinner took four wickets in the match and registered the figures of 4/46 in his 10-over spell.

Ravi Bishnoi Shines In The Quarter-final against Haryana

The most noticeable wicket was when skipper Axar Patel took a stunning catch. The Bishnoi-Patel duo combined to get rid of Himanshu Rana, who scored 66 (89. 

The wicket fell on the 3rd ball of the 28th over, when Patel took a great catch at covers. 

Gujarat And Haryana Shine In Vijay Hazare Trophy

Gujarat And Haryana both have had briliantly Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 season. It is worth noting that both teams were placed in the same group and finished in the top 2. Gujarat were the table toppers with 28 points, while Haryana finished second with 24 points. 

Talking about Ravi Bishnoi and Axar Patel, then they too have had an amazing run. Notably, Bishnoi has taken 14 wickets in just seven matches and also has 64 runs to his name in this tournament. 

Meanwhile, Axar, hasn't played too many matches and has 4 wickets in three matches.
