Arjun Tendulkar had a dream start in IPL 2024, getting the big wicket of Marcus Stoinis in his very first over. However, he was left disappointed after the third-umpire Jayaraman Madanagopal overturned the decision following Stoinis took the DRS.
After Hardik Pandya won the toss and asked LSG to bat first, Arjun Tendulkar, who came in place of Jasprit Bumrah, was given the new ball ahead of the second over of MI's innings. And he started beautifully, and almost got the reward when his length ball pitched at middle and leg stump hit Stoinis' pads.
Arjun appealed for an LBW animatedly, and a few seconds later, the umpire raised his finger as well. While Tendulkar was celebrating, Stoinis took the DRS straightaway while having a cheeky smile on his face.
Stoinis knew the ball would have gone over the stumps. The replay showed exactly the same, and hence, Tendulkar's emotions changed quickly.

At the time of writing this, LSG have lost Marcus Stoinis as well, as they have reached 49/2 at the end of six overs. KL Rahul is still there, batting on 18* off 13 deliveries.
